WEEK 12

OBJECTIVE

To prepare of proposal report



ACTIVITY

The proposal is create by discussion with the supervisor to make sure flow of proposal follow the guideline. The commend and recommendation from assessor from presentation day is take a note to improve the proposal writing. The proposal is using computer which is Microsoft word. Proposal is more detail from presentation slide. It consist all main title from presentation but more elaborate in word.

WEEK 11

OBJECTIVE 

To find example of circuit for project.



ACTIVITY

The circuit that was for temperature are already have from previous diploma project,but adjustment will take from sensor to RF circuit. Rf is using RF module. For motion sensor is using example circuit that will present to used into project. The circuit take from internal only the guideline to create the project hardware and also software.

WEEK 10

OBJECTIVE
To preparation for proposal presentation.


ACTIVITY

The proposal is in progress. Before submitted the proposal report, proposal presentation will take action before it. Preparing of presentation is like summary or simplify from whole proposal report. The main of presentation is to explain to assessors about our project and take the suggestion and also improver into our project. The flow of presentation is take the main point inside proposal report which is Objective, Abstract, Introduction, Problem Statement, Problem Solution, Methodology, Lecturer Review, Benefit, Work Plan, Budget and Conclusion. The preparing of presentation happen in a week. Before presentation, meet with supervisor to ask and show slide presentation. After adjustment and correction, the presentation slide completed. Date of presentation day, Friday 22 November 2013 from 2PM – 5 PM at Gemilang Hall, Unikl BMI. The assessors which is Sir SHAH RIZAILLI and DR SABRY. Feedback from assessor is taken to improve abd make propasl report more reasonable.

WEEK 9

OBJECTIVE
To find model sensor to used to in project.


ACTIVITY

Two different sensors are used. Finding of type of sensor may consider using for temperature and motion is been finalize. For temperature, LM 35 is been pick. It because of operation for circuit is simple and can understand. This sensor also currently had been study in one of subject in medical subject. For motion sensor is used Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor. This sensor is detect range that actual project needed. Further research for both sensors is in the progress.

 

WEEK 8

OBJECTIVE
To create flow cart of coding software


ACTIVITY

The coding software are been decide by using KEIL UVISION. It cause of this semester study with this software to create coding which is C language. To another’s software like MPLAB is backup if the create of coding not successful. The understanding of coding is the difficult parts on work progress cause all operation will determine how the coding is create. Wrong create coding, the circuit cannot be run within simulation. To create coding software is take a time to complete.  Coding software is involve first sensor detect motion and heat. With coding is to translate this two input sensor to create of temperature control and alert with cooling fan and LCD. The creating of coding is will guide with this flow cart.

WEEK 7

OBJECTIVE
To find suitable software to create coding to the project.


ACTIVITY

The choosen of software for making circuit simulation which is PROTEUS. The other choose will be back-up choose if construction are fail to deliver. The other software are used is to coding. Coding is create regularly in C command (file.c).  C command is to convert and translate from binary signal (numbering) to language command. Choosing the suitable software is to make sure the coding is can calobrate with circuit software simulation. There is software maybe in used to make the coding, likes MPLAB, KEIL UVISION and SIMULATOR 8051. Below show example each of software :

WEEK 6

OBJECTIVE

To find suitable software to design hardware to the project.


ACTIVITY

After design flow of operations, step to understanding how operation for simulation part will take. Simulation has two(2) part which is circuit and coding. It is importance to create prototype circuit before done it hardware. There is various software can be used to stimulate operation for circuit and coding. For circuit operation, software likes LABVIEW, PROTEUS, PSPICE and MULTISIM.  Below show example each of software’s :-
